How about this story on MSN talking about how science has proven “beer goggles” are legit. A study out of England found people (of both sexes, for heterosexuals) really do look better after you’ve had a few. For those who wonder, beer goggles refers to people finding others attractive, who they would normally not give a second look (and often hooking up), after having too much to drink. People (men, especially) will use the term as an excuse with their friends when getting harassed for taking
